Experience
Tom Andrews, with over twenty years
of experience in nonprofit human services brings extensive
experience in management and program operations, organizational
planning and development. Prior to joining Teeter Associates,
Tom was with Westmoreland Human Opportunities, Inc. (WHO,
Inc.) the Community Action Agency for the County of Westmoreland,
where he served as the Chief Operating Officer with primary
responsibilities of managing program operations and planning
for the organization with an annual budget exceeding 12 million.
WHO provides a range of social services from early childhood
interventions to homeless services receiving funding from
federal, state, county, foundations and local supports.
During
his career, he has held senior positions at Pressley Ridge
in Westmoreland County serving special needs children
providing both residential and in-home mental health services
and at the University of South Florida, Department of Child
and Family Studies, Florida Mental Health Institute in providing
research and treatment to special needs children and their
families. He was previously employed at the State of Florida
Health & Rehabilitative Services, Department of Children & Youth
Services. Tom is a native Southwestern Pennsylvanian and
began his career as a social worker.
Education
Tom received his Masters of Science in Community Mental Health
from Trinity College of Vermont and his Bachelors of Arts
in Education/Psychology from Waynesburg College.
