Professional Experience
John M. Cathey, with over 15 years corporate communications experience, specializes in providing marketing, public relations, and media relations counsel to the firm’s clients. Prior to joining Teeter Associates, he was President of Camelot Advisors, a financial public relations and investor relations firm providing strategic communications counsel and advisory services to clients.

During his career, he has held senior positions at Dewe Rogerson, Ruder Finn and Ketchum where he advised domestic and international clients from a variety of sectors. He has created and implemented numerous strategies that reduced volatility, increased liquidity and demand and enhanced the firm’s credibility, visibility, reputation and valuation on Wall Street.

Mr. Cathey has been involved in a variety of financial transactions including: IPOs, LBOs, debt offerings, spin-offs and mergers and acquisitions.

Education
Mr. Cathey is a graduate of Lake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
