Professional
Experience
Based
on his background as a management and fund-raising consultant,
teacher, and administrator, Bob Teeter established Teeter
Associates, Inc. in 1985. His strong strategic planning abilities
have provided focus and direction to dozens of profit and
non-profit organizations, including Fortune 500 companies.
Bob
is involved in meeting the needs of all Teeter Associates’ clients.
His fund-raising expertise is in the areas of strategic planning,
campaign planning, feasibility studies, feasibility audits,
and campaign management. Bob has directed campaigns from
$500,000 to $30 million for a wide variety of organizations,
including economic development corporations, historic restoration
projects, cultural groups, educational institutions, biomedical
research institutes, YMCAs, and social service organizations.
In
addition to his fund-raising expertise, Bob is an active
consultant in strategic planning, organizational planning
and development, and human resource development. Bob is a
leader in positive management practices and has conducted
a variety of training programs for executive staff and boards
of directors.
Bob
has been in the forefront of the start-up and development
of many new programs and agencies in the areas of human services,
economic development, drug-and-alcohol prevention, career
development, community recreation, and community foundations.
Bob's
experience includes years in basic and higher education as
a teacher, counselor, administrator, and manager. He has
served as chief development officer and chief administrator
of a liberal arts college where he planned and coordinated
the move of the college from being a single-sex college to
a coeducation institution.
Publication
Bob’s
doctoral thesis, "Participative Management and Selected
Teacher Characteristics as Related to Innovative Classroom
Practices", has been published by University Microfilms,
Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Education
Bob
received his Ph.D. in Counselor Education (Supervision, Program
Development) from the University of Pittsburgh. He holds an
M.A. from West Virginia University and a B.S. from Indiana
University of Pennsylvania.
